They is no mention about this in the Bible and it is a grey area. As a result there are controversies regarding this gay marriage. The church is split into two camps. I can only speak for myself as an individual .

I believe that everyone of us will have to decide whether you can accept gay marriages or not.If some one believed it is against the Bible , let him believed it .

We cannot tell him or say that he is wrong. Many Christians may interpret the Bible and believed what they think it is right.

We know from the historical perspective that sometimes our beliefs may have been wrong for ages until some one pointed it out to us.

There is this possibility that we maybe wrong and we should keep an open mind about our beliefs. We should not be rigid about what we have learnt.

Whatever your beliefs, one would respect other's beliefs and will leave you alone and will neither judge you nor condemn you.

As an individual , it is easier to belief what we want but as a church , the leader will have to decide the right course of action. Whatever actions those leaders take, it will not please everyone

Religion is to teach and make us a better person .If religion is abused and twisted to one's belief , then it is wrong.

We cannot feel that we are the chosen ones and all the others who do not believe the same will go to Hell .

In certain countries, religion is used as a control on the masses by those in power.

Gay or not gay , that is your decision. Right or wrong ,it is between you and God .Who am I to judge you for your sexual preferences?

It may not be the gay issue alone but could be many theological issues which can divide the believers.

If you are not gay , you cannot pretend to be a gay . It would be repulsive and offensive to you. You cannot pretend to be one.

Do you really understand why they are gay ?

How dare you who are not gay simply condemn them because you believed what some one told you according to the Bible.

Why do you swallow hook ,line and sinker and not use your brain to think. What if someone condemned you as a religious freak? Are you not ?

If you do not have love for your fellow mankind, then you do not have God in your heart. You are not worshiping God but the devil in disguis

Christians should not force the Bible down other's throat or bang on their heads. That is not the right way.

Condemning others is also wrong. What makes them think that they are right and others are wrong? Did God make them your custodian of your soul?

Even if you are right by quoting Bible verses but if you have no love , you are just like an empty gong. All talk but no actions. Faith without works is dead.

This world is full of self righteous and holier than thou people and you can meet them everywhere. Religious freaks or nuts or extremist or fanatics come to the mind.

This is a terrible state to be in and it is soul and gut wrenching to decide whether you want to keep the baby or to have an abortion. She did not asked for it but she became the young arbiter of life not of her own choosing. At 16, she could not be matured enough to decide the outcome for herself.. For if she had wanted to keep the baby , she will need a lot of moral , mental and financial support of her parents or the state. Many of the victims would want to terminate it as the law allows such a process. Have we really understood or study the repercussions of wanting to dispose of the baby ? No one can force the girl to keep the baby if she does not want. There are a lot of emotional, mental, moral and psychological factors which may affect her decision.

One brave girl decided to keep her baby and only her mother agreed with her while the father and the whole world were against it. They had to fight against all those stereotype bias and prejudices from that society and she had to seek counsellings to overcome her fears ,disgusts and the nightmares. In this particular case, she was brought up with a very strong will against abortions . The baby lived because of her convictions and she never regretted having her . The baby is innocent and what a cute baby , bringing joy to the mother and her mother. Many young girls got pregnant because of the casual sex attitude in this present young generations and the lack of sex education. They decided that it was not the right time for them to have a family and as a result , many of them went for the abortion. I do not want to sound judgmental but I personally believed that whatever happens, we should not have an abortion unless the baby has serious birth defects. Do you agree with her decision?

The Most Spectacular Olympic Show On Earth On 08-08-08 In Beijing,China!

At 8.08 pm on 08-08-08 in the year of the rat in the Chinese calendar , the greatest show in the Olympics and on Earth , the Beijing Olympics exploded with splendour and the grandest extravaganza never seen before in the olympics and in this world.

The choreographed show took them seven year to plan this event. At the cost of £25million, in front of 80 world leaders and a worldwide audience of four billion. The next Olympics would be in London in 2012 .It is held after every 4 years.

That is a huge sum of money and I hope they would be able recover those expenses through all those media rights and those tourist who came to watch the Olympics.

In the center of the stadium was a huge LED screen , the biggest in the world and the most costliest you can imagine. Cutting edge technology was used and combined with the eye catching lighting systems and multimedia video shows to present to you ,this greatest show on earth.

It was the efforts of Yu Jian Ping, director of the technology group for the opening ceremony , who lead a team of 500 strong experts and the whole opening ceremony went without a hitch. Kudo's to all those genius minds!

Zhang Yimou, China's most famous filmmaker, directed the opening ceremony, saying it had been a "glorious, but arduous" challenge. It is no wonder that unbelievable scene was like out of a futuristic movie . More like a time travel ,back to the past.

It was an awesome ,Earth shattering, heart stopping and simply magnificent display beyond words . The synchronized footsteps in the sky walking towards the stadium which shaped like a bird's nest ,those square boxes which had a life of it's own and I thought it was controlled by computers but with real people inside of it and that picture of that white dove created by people were simply an awe inspiring sight to behold.

There were so many special effects and majestic events which left the millions of spectators worldwide spellbound.

It is a great tribute and success to those planners and to China for holding this greatest show on Earth.They have proven their ability to hold such a big event. All praise to them for this greatest show on earth.

The build-up to the event was dogged by worries over pollution and criticism of China's human rights record . Thanks God, the games proceeded smoothly . Every political and divisive differences are now being put aside as China showcase it's talents in this grand sporting event .

As I wrote this post, weightlifter Chen Xiexia won the first Olympic gold for the Chinese delegation in women's 48kg class weightlifting competition. GO! GO! GO! CHINA!!!! China is leading with 2 golds in the medal tally .

Who was that mysterious girl on that rotating globe ?

Chinese singer Liu Huan and British singer Sarah Brightman sang the theme song of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

As well as being the eve of the Olympics, yesterday was Double Seventh Festival day, an ancient celebration similar to Valentine's Day in China.

The Qixi Festival, as it is known in Mandarin, falls on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month each year.

Google Gadgets An Open Door For Attack ?

According to those researchers at Black Hat;-

"The attacker can forcibly install Google Gadgets; they can read the victim's search history once a malicious gadget has been installed in some specific circumstances; they can attack other Google Gadgets; they can phish usernames and passwords from victims, and so on," said Robert Hansen, also known as RSnake, a founder of security consultancy SecTheory.

Those Google gadgets are very cool. I do not know whether it is true or not  but to be on the safe side. I think I will have to delete them from now . Better to be safe than sorry.

So far there has been no cases about this threat.. I hope they will not materialize. Perhaps , Google may come out with an reply to rebut this theory.

Sometimes installing widgets from a third party site may cause havoc to your xml documents.. It is always wise to back up your HTML  first before you thinker with those codes.

Her married Chinese lover from China made a pact with her to die together by drowning but at the last minute , she had second thoughts and lived but unfortunately for her, her lover was gone.

His wife which he left in China did not agree to a divorce unless he buys her a house but he could not afford it. Her terms for a divorce caused her to lose everything. It would have been better if she just let him go and he would still be alive today. Their fate and destiny was not meant to be on the same path.

He could not get a divorce from his estranged wife back home and the lover did not want to cohabit with him. He saw no way out of his predicament and thought of death as an escape from the problems of this world.If only he had more patience and let time to solve his problems. and not seek an instant answer.

Why is love so sweet and  sometimes so bitter? It is very sad that he has to end his life this way. Even the love for his chidren could not prevent him from leaving them.
Now that he is gone , she insisted on holding a ghost wedding with her dead boyfriend in Vietnam। Her lover may be dead, but Miss Dang Thi Tho still wants to marry him.

In some Asian cultures especially the Chinese people, they believed that holding a wedding in the temple to solemnize the wedding will give them the legitimacy of the marriage in this world and in the underworld.

The Chinese people believed that the deceased lived in a parallel world unseen by them। Sometimes , those dead can come back and contact their parents through a seance or a temple medium . You may not believe it but I happened to experience a real event in my family.

I had a little brother who passed away when he was 9 months old. When he was 18years old, he met a girl in his underworld and wanted to get married to her. He had to come back to the real world to get the blessings from his parents before he could marry down there. Perhaps , it may be one of the preconditions down there.

He came back in the spirit to contact our mother in her dream and my mom was restless and did not know why until she visited a seance who told her the true story. The seance went into a trance and his spirit manifested through the seance's body. It is hard to believe this tale and you may think this is all a fake.

The spirit through the seance spoke that he wanted to marry a girl and wanted my mom to hold a ghost wedding in the temple. He gave her the name of that girl and her address. The girl died in a traffic accident sometime ago.

With that information , my mom went searching for that girl and found it exactly as had been told by the seance .She told the deceased girl's parent about this story and they agreed to have the wedding.

After the ceremony was performed at the temple , my mom had peace in her heart and her life became normal again.

There is life after death. You can choose not to believe it. It is up to you. It may not be in Ripley's believe it or not but it was a supernatural occurrence. There is no doubt about that.

A Woman's Place Is In The Home ?

If you are living in the 50's , you may be forgiven for saying that. Most women at that time were stay at home moms (SAHM) , looking after the babies, the husband and the home.



This was because there were few jobs for women at that time. They were treated like baby making factories and the stereotype female roles they had to play in that kind of society.



They had to leave school early to get married as the prevailing notion that it was a waste of resources to allow women to go for higher studies. They would get married and looked after the babies and quit their jobs anyway, which was the trend at that time. Most of the jobs opened to women at that time were the middle and lower rung hierarchy.



With today's modern,highly educated, liberated and emancipated women , many have given up that role and have left their care taking to nannies or maids and concentrated on their successful careers.



Some of them have difficulties in making up the decision whether to be a SAHM or a supermom . They do not know what are their priorities anymore . If they are successful in their careers , it is even harder for them to decide. It is a turmoil and heartbreaking to choose one over the other. They get mental paralysis and unable to decide.

SAHM

The decision may looked difficult but it all boils down to whether you think of your children first or yourself first. Being a SAHM may be unrewarding as compared to a supermom but it is fulfilling to see him/her grow up to be a better and more rounded person.



Those that come from a SAHM environment are more equipped in life and have a better understanding than those who grow up with their absent moms.



It can be a big struggle and sacrifice to give up your career for your children but the decision to become a SAHM is all about giving your best to the child.You brought the child into this world and you let others take care of her/him. It is just like the animal kingdom. We are a higher life form .



If we bring children into this world and then give up most of our time and resources to career, then we are no better than rabbits . Rabbits are much better than us for they looked after the young till they can fend for themselves.

Would you like her/him to grow up without any close family relationship ? The children will grow up without any close or just superficial bond with the supermom. When you are old, they may return you the favour..It is Karma.

We know that in the Western society , the children will grow up and leave their parents , while in the Eastern society, the children will still have ties to their parents until they leave this world.



But this filial piety is slowly disappearing as the children get caught up with the attritions of life and simply have no time to be filial to their parents anymore. Some countries had to make it a law for the children to take care of their parents.



Many of today's generations abandoned their poor parents and left to the state to take care of them.It was a heavy burden since they required more medical support.



Sometimes, it is not about the financial plights or to downgrade to a lower standard of living , it is about bonding with our children. You can be surprised that you can have a lovely and rich life while you exist in the average middle class family or the poor. It was more fun and the children will enjoy their childhood .



It is not about living in a bigger house, driving a bigger car and more of all those material things. Those material things cloud out our real purpose in life . We should concentrate on the human developments



Each and every women will have to decide which is more important to her. Working together to build up a home or an empire.



Being a SAHM is also a full time job though it is often unappreciated ,underpaid and unglamourous .

Think of your life when you were small. If you grew up with a supermom, you would know what you need to do to give your children the best in life.

If you want to get a slimmer and fitter body , you do not have to go to the gym anymore. There is a better and easier way .

You can combine this two exercise and this will guarantee that you would enjoy this pleasurable activity and at the same time keeping your body slimmer without any sweat or lifting any dumb bells.

If you are a man , you would know what it is like to go shopping with your g/f or wife. She may searched through the whole shopping complex or all the shopping complexes in the vicinity just to get her perfect pair of shoes, handbag or apparel.

In the process, she may have walked a distance of a few miles without your acknowledge. Not only walking alone , you maybe carrying weights and lugging around with her .

She would be walking in the cool comfort of those air conditioned shopping complexes and she will not feel tired and can walk further till her legs gave in.

They have coined a new word ,called 'Mall exercise.' It is safer to exercise in the mall and you do not have to worry about the weather anymore. You can exercise anytime you want. You walk , exercise, window shop , do all your weekly shoppings and then after the exercise you can have instant refreshments .

.Shopping is also therapeutic. For some women , it is better than sex. She can get reliefs from all those stress which she received at work or from her man.

If you allow her to go shopping frequently, you will bring out the best from her . When the credit card bills arrived, you will go from her presence and cringed alone. That is what you are made for or you should not get hitched .
